Wed, 19 December 2007 We know you'd love to make your own cards, if you weren't so busy pouring egg nogs for your friends, or fi-nig-ling a way to get that 24" monitor so that you can see the cavern in all its splendor (snowing in Eder Delin). If you don't get around to making your own cards, we made a few extras to share. For your convenience we have shipped the Christmas cards by way of our blog. You can click on the thumb size print that will take you to the full size version for mailing. Go ahead and add signature. When you send it along to someone else, be sure to let them know about the expeditions coming this spring 2008.

Wed, 19 December 2007 ![]() We would like to wish the Uru community a joyous and bountiful Christmas season. Do something silly, experience wild abandon, and giggle often. And if you are looking for your delivery of Kirel Baked Treats, and have not yet received them, go to gametap and sign up ASAP. The treats are waiting for you in Ercana. Any less than the best quality fruit cakes get tossed into the lakewater. A few sorts say the cakes might even help to light the lake (or bake it). While you wait for your treats, why don't you write out some Christmas cards. We have a few remaining cards in the box, and you are welcome to use them freely. Our love and appreciation for your support all year, The staff of CCN Comments[0] |
Mon, 17 December 2007 Winter Holidays of Renaissance Europe A Cavern Choir concert Sunday, December 16, 2007 2:00pm EST / 7:00pm GMT Eder Delin, GameBoomer's Bevin The Renaissance saw an explosion of innovation in all of the fine arts, music chief among them. Composers across Europe explored new expressive possibilities and created exquisite music for their patrons, for their nation, and for their faith. The Cavern Choir presents songs from the period both familiar and rarely performed, in celebration of the winter holidays. Our selection ranges across the European continent, displaying diverse musical styles and traditions, and represents the three major faith traditions for which choral music was written during the period: Catholicism, Protestantism, and Judaism. Come join us as we bring holiday cheer to the Cavern with our rich sound and exciting repertoire. Comments[0] |

Wed, 14 November 2007 The past and rediscovery of D'ni. Zardoz finding Phil Henderson in Eder Kemo. Phil avoiding confrontation with the DRC. Brian organizing disgruntled explorers. A Relto page appearing out of nothingness. Douglas Sharper departing to take the Journey. Victor Laxman seeking explorer interest in the Great Zero. These histories we have told. More history we will tell. Today, explorer support for the D'ni Restoration Council is strong despite the DRC's weakened state. Many of the Gathered seek guidance. They feel helpless without direction from an established authority. But look within yourselves, and ask if you are making the right choice. What might you sacrifice to accomplish your goal? Alone or together, decide. The truth is there, shining inside of you. Whether you have forgotten... or if you have joined the Gathered in this past year... Learn from the past, or be doomed to repeat its mistakes. Now, The Great Tree takes you back to December 15, 2003, so that the events of this day are not lost to eternity. We humbly submit to you our latest Prologue Documentary: Kidnapped! Comments[0] |
