Happy New Year to all our good friends at the DRC. With a particular thank you to the fine storytellers who wrote into being anything whatsoever to do with pellets.

As a token of our appreciation we offer up a little tale about what really happened a week or so ago. Read by none other than our CEO, Mr. Jules Lapis and adapted for the airwaves by our e-stranged Ruby O'Degee [ who promised to get this out for New Year's Eve, but missed yet another deadline] the sure to be a classic "The Night Before A Cavern Christmas."

Of course there is still a chance that the audio version will be illuminated with illustrations in time for our next promotion. In July 2008 we will be holding our Kirel Baked Treats Christmas in July sale. The very same fruitcakes delivered to your relto hut doors over the holidays will be recycled and sold all over again. How algae greeen of us?

We know you'd love to make your own cards, if you weren't so busy pouring egg nogs for your friends, or fi-nig-ling a way to get that 24" monitor so that you can see the cavern in all its splendor (snowing in Eder Delin).  If you don't get around to making your own cards, we made a few extras to share. 

For your convenience we have shipped the Christmas cards by way of our blog. You can click on the thumb size print that will take you to the full size version for mailing.  Go ahead and add signature.  When you send it along to someone else, be sure to let them know about the expeditions coming this spring 2008. 

 

We would like to wish the Uru community a joyous and bountiful Christmas season.  Do something silly, experience wild abandon, and giggle often.

And if you are looking for your delivery of Kirel Baked Treats, and have not yet received them, go to gametap and sign up ASAP.  The treats are waiting for you in Ercana.  Any less than the best quality fruit cakes get tossed into the lakewater.  A few sorts say the cakes might even help to light the lake (or bake it).

While you wait for your treats, why don't you write out some Christmas cards.  We have a few remaining cards in the box, and you are welcome to use them freely.

Composers across Europe explored new expressive possibilities and created exquisite music for their patrons, for their nation, and for their faith. The Cavern Choir presents songs from the period both familiar and rarely performed, in celebration of the winter holidays. Our selection ranges across the European continent, displaying diverse musical styles and traditions, and represents the three major faith traditions for which choral music was written during the period: Catholicism, Protestantism, and Judaism. Come join us as we bring holiday cheer to the Cavern with our rich sound and exciting repertoire.
